We are an active group and involved in all technical aspects of both digital and analogue radio communication. We also provide a broadcast service to listeners in the Yarra Valley, presenting technical programs and general technology based information. These programs are presented on the VHF amateur band.

RENOVATIONS AT THE CLUB ROOMS

Work at the club rooms continues. Steve VK3TSR and Gavin VK3GH completed the next phase of the club radio room renovations today. Now the radios are back and working.

Come along to the next club meeting Tuesday evening the 8th May and have a look at the progress.

IRLP NODE BACK ON AIR

The IRLP node is now back and operating. We have a new node number 6747. Give it a try and see how it works.

HAMFEST 2012

The Yarra Valley Amateur Radio Group Hamfest date is November 11th 2012.

Come along to the Gary Cooper Pavilion 16 Anzac Av. Yarra Glen. Melway 274K1. 10 am until 2pm. Over 20 tables of goodies at bargin prices. Call in on VK3RYV 146.725MHz
